All respondents who had the opportunity to try HayMax™ during their allergic season reported that HayMax™ worked.
Professor Jean Emberlin, director of The National Pollen and Aerobiology Research Unit (NPARU) at Worcester University completed independent research on HayMax™ during the peak grass pollen season in 2009. This established that “….the application of HayMax™ to the lower part and rim of the nostrils does trap significantly more pollen than an uncoated nostril”.

- 4: Worked well. Occasional sneeze and/or eye irritation
- 3: Worked: Reduction in effects. But still get attacks of sneezing etc.
- 2: Hardly worked: Still experiencing most of the effects.
- 1: Didn’t work: No help whatsoever. Just as horrible as ever
We ran a trial of HayMax™ in July, August and September of 2004.
Pollen counts were regularly high during the trial.
They were asked to rate it on a scale from 1 to 5:
The average rating for HayMax™ was 3.9 to 4.0.
There were no side effects.
All respondents said it worked and gave a mark of 3 or better.
Approximately 700 people (Max Wiseberg’s contact list at his previous business) were emailed and offered free product in exchange for genuine and honest answers in a questionnaire. Apart from 2, the respondents were people who did not know Max, who had had the email passed on to them by Max’s contact.
This was a simple trial with no control group and no placebo and was not published and could not be considered to be any sort of clinical trial. It was done in order to establish that the product worked for people other than its inventor and that it might be marketable. HayMax™ would like to conduct proper clinical trials in the near future, when funds will allow. We hope to complete these in the next year or two.
