Études & Surveys

HayMax has undergone two independent studies at the National Pollen and Aerobiology Research Unit (NPARU- The UK’s leading Authority on Airborne Allergens), two surveys by Allergy UK (the leading UK allergy charity) and one trial by HayMax at the very beginning…

Sur cette page, vous trouverez un résumé de chaque enquête et d'étude, and a link for downloading the complete reports. They are quite long, but make a fascinating read!

Survey on HayMax, 2015.

En 2015, Allergy UK conducted a survey called ‘The Impact of Hay Fever, a Survey by Allergy UK, Surveying the Effectiveness of HayMax Allergen Barrier Balm’. The first part of the survey was about the respondents hay fever symptoms, and the second half asked respondents to try HayMax and answer a series of questions post trial.

Key survey finding: When asked if overall HayMax worked, 80% said ‘Yes’ (134/166 respondents).

There are lots more interesting statistics in the report, which can be downloaded using the link below.

HayMax Survey at the University of Worcester (NPARU), 2012.

This further study looked at whether HayMax can trap indoor and outdoor airborne particles such as pollens in a more controlled environment. The study required healthy volunteers who did not suffer from allergic rhinitis to visit NPARU 4 times over a 3 week period.

Key trial finding: HayMax traps over a third of pollen before it enters the body, in addition to dust mite allergens and pet dander.

NPARU HayMax Trial Report 2012

HayMax Survey at the University of Worcester (NPARU), 2009.

Professeur Jean Emberlin, Directeur de l'UnitĂ© de recherche Aerobiology Pollen nationale et (NPARU) at the University of Worcester completed independent research on HayMax™ during the peak grass pollen season in 2009.

The study aimed to assess the number of pollen grains that are trapped by HayMax balm when applied in a standard manner to the rim and the inside of nostrils compared with the amount deposited on uncoated nostrils.

Key trial finding: The application of HayMax™ to the lower part and rim of the nostrils does trap significantly more pollen than an uncoated nostril.

Other interesting trials!

Moscou Trials Etat- “Efficacy of pollen blocker cream in the treatment of allergic rhinitis

This was a double-blind placebo controlled trial conducted to show the efficacy of pollen barriers. This was not a trial conducted on HayMax, but it is an interesting study of a similar type of product.

Nos premiers essais! We like testing on humans…

We ran a trial of HayMax™ in July, AoĂ»t et Septembre de 2004.

Environ 700 personnes (Max Wiseberg’s contact list at his previous business) ont Ă©tĂ© envoyĂ©s par courriel et offert produit gratuitement en Ă©change de rĂ©ponses vĂ©ritables et honnĂŞtes dans un questionnaire. ExceptĂ© 2, les rĂ©pondants Ă©taient des gens qui ne savent pas Max, who had had the email passed on to them by Max’s contact.

  • 1: Didn’t work: Aucune aide. Tout aussi horrible que jamais.

Tous les répondants ont dit qu'il a travaillé et a donné une note de 3 ou mieux.

All respondents who had the opportunity to try HayMax™ during their allergic season reported that HayMax™ worked.

There were no reported side effects.

HayMax™ would like to conduct proper clinical trials in the future, lorsque les fonds permettront.
