British drivers ‘blinded by hayfever’

A study by Kwik Fit has found that around 500,000 drivers have lost control of their vehicles while sneezing, and more than twice that number have had to pull over and stop their car during a particularly violent sneezing fit.

Kwik Fit estimate that British drivers will cover over nine million miles on the road with their eyes shut because of possible hayfever-related sneezing.

One in three drivers in the UK suffer from hayfever.
